Thanks to optimised combustion processes, very little ash is produced. This is further compressed tightly in the ash container, so that the container needs to be emptied less frequently. When the time comes, the boiler automatically sends a reminder by email.

Maximum safety against backdraft

The single-chamber rotary valve prevents against backdraft and operates in an energy-saving and efficient way. Thanks to the automatic rotary valve stop and shared drive with the stoker screw, it does not require its own motor. A hardened blade ensures that oversized fuel particles are reliably cut off.

The combustion chamber has a multi-layered structure. Together with the water-cooled grate side rails, the entire boiler construction ensures a long service life, low radiation losses and therefore high efficiency.

The optional combustion chamber camera actively intervenes in the control system. This further optimises combustion when fuel quality fluctuates.

The ETA EEP enables emissions to be reduced further. The dedusting, as with the boiler, is done automatically into an ash bin.

A look inside the boiler 

When selecting a new heating boiler, you are making a decision that can have an effect on your daily life for many years. You determine how safe you can feel and how much you have to worry about maintenance or cleaning. Take a look inside your future wood chip boiler in advance. 

Extremely energy-efficient draught fan

It ensure underpressure and thus safety in the boiler – and is especially energy-saving: The ideal speed required for the underpressure is passed on to the motor via a frequency converter.

Separately regulated flue gas recirculation

It ensures a stable temperature range in the combustion chamber and thus protects the boiler. There is no slag on the grate, even with different fuels.

Primary and secondary air

The primary and secondary air supply is pre-heated and thus cools the boiler's outer layer. This minimises radiation losses. The efficiency of the whole system is increased. Starting at 333 kW, a motor controlled by a frequency converter ensures optimal speed.

Single chamber rotary valve

It reliably prevents backdraft and thus ensures the highest safety. The large chamber is only filled at standstill, thanks to the automatic rotary valve stop. So the rotary valve works particularly efficiently and energy-saving and can be driven by just one motor together with the stoker screw. A hardened blade with counter-blade reliably cuts off oversized fuel parts. So nothing gets jammed.

Thanks to a special trough geometry and the progressive stoker screw, it operates with low-wear and largely without disruptions.

Lambda and combustion chamber temperature regulation

By adjusting the oxygen supply to the respective fuel quality, the boiler achieves maximum efficiency with the lowest emissions. The temperature of the combustion chamber is controlled as needed by the flue gas recirculation flap.

The combustion chamber with its multi-layered, high temperature-resistant construction is made for the highest loads. The firebed is constantly stoked. The combustion chamber area on the sides is provided with extra protection by water-cooled side rails. This ensures the long lifetime for the boiler. De-ashing takes place automatically, whereby a common drive for grate and ash rake is sufficient.

Touch controller with microprocessors

The whole touch control system of the heating system is located directly on the boiler and is already pre-wired. Four different mounting positions are possible. The menu guidance works via touchscreen with clear images. Visualisations of the working processes of the heating system as well as remote control are possible via the internet with meinETA, including email messaging system, partner network and software updates via USB connection.

Vertical pipe heat exchanger

Automatic cleaning ensures constantly high efficiency. An integrated multi-cyclone cuts coarse dust through rotation, thus preventing dangerous sparks and at the same time lowering the dust emissions. It is already integrated into the system and thus needs less space than an external device and also generates no extra costs. The flue tube connection is designed to pivot.

Automatic, complete de-ashing

The grate and cyclone ash are collected and transported away via a high-quality shaftless inclined screw with temperature monitoring, for which coarse foreign bodies in the ash are no problem either. Further disposal takes place via a spherical transition on which the de-ashing variants can be connected.

Minimal emissions through clever use of natural phenomena

The percipitator in the boiler ensures even cleaner and more environmentally friendly heating with wood. With an impressive capture efficiency of 80–85%, emissions are reduced to a barely measurable level. Retrofitting is also possible without any problems.
