ETA ePE
Your benefits

Logo eP inside
Clean air through innovative technology

The ETA precipitator ensures efficient reduction of dust particles by utilising electrostatic attraction. The result: fewer emissions and environmentally friendly operation without any additional maintenance.

Small, compact and space-saving
Minimal space requirements, maximum power

With a base area starting at just 0.5 m², the ETA ePE pellet boiler combines high energy efficiency and maximum safety with convenient operation – ideal for space-saving heating solutions.

Less ash, more comfort
Less ash, more comfort

Thanks to optimised combustion processes, very little ash is produced. This is further compressed tightly in the ash container, so that the container needs to be emptied less frequently. When the time comes, the boiler automatically sends a reminder by email.

Maximum fire safety
Maximum safety against backdraft

The rotary valve ensures safe operation by reliably protecting against backdraft– the fire therefore always remains in the designated combustion chamber.

High flexibility in its application
Flexible set-up options

Thanks to flexible connection options, the ETA ePE can be set up quickly and easily – whether on the wall or in the corner. The hydraulic connections can easily be rotated to the left or right, whilst the air intake and exhaust connections can be positioned either to the left or at the rear.

Room air-independent operation - the boiler draws the oxygen for combustion directly from outside via an optional pipe
Operation with external air supply

The ETA ePE draws the oxygen for combustion directly from outside via an optional pipe. This allows the boiler to be operated even in winter without an open window inside the heated building.

A look inside the boiler

When selecting a new heating boiler, you are making a decision that can have an effect on your daily life for many years. You determine how safe you can feel and how much you have to worry about maintenance or cleaning. Take a look inside your future pellet boiler beforehand.

Aspirator

The pellets are transported from the storeroom to the intermediate pellet bin of the boiler.

Pellet bin

Here, 30 to 75 kg of pellets are temporarily stored and are immediately ready for burning. Therefore pellets have to be transported from the storeroom to the boiler only once or twice a day for 10 minutes. You control when that happens.

The rotary valve serves as protection against backdraft

The sealing gate between the store and the combustion chamber is totally tight, thus providing reliable protection against backdraft.

Automatic ash removal into the ash box

The small amount of ash that still accumulates despite the optimised combustion processes is firmly compacted in the ash bin. In this way, the ash bin needs to be emptied less often. When it's time, the boiler sends a reminder by email.

Lambda probe

With its help the mixing ratio of fuel and oxygen are perfectly coordinated. So different pellet qualities always achieve the best possible efficiency.

Safety devices

A safety valve and an electronic pressure sensor protect the boiler from overpressure. An automatic rapid ventilator is also integrated, unwanted air is removed from the hot water circuit. The boiler does not need a thermal emergency cooling valve, as there is never too much fuel in the boiler that could cause overheating.

Precipitator

The optionally integrated particle separator reduces the dust load in the exhaust gas to a minimum. The environment reaps the benefits!

Mixer

Thanks to the interchangeable actuator, it adapts perfectly to the existing or planned hydraulic system.

Pump

It is speed-controlled, highly efficient, energy-saving and ensures the movement of hot water. Depending on the type of system used, it is either the heating circuit pump for underfloor or radiator heating, or it takes over the buffer tank charging.

Combustion chamber

Here, temperatures are produced that are high enough to burn wood cleanly and efficiently. This results in less ash and low emissions, even under partial load.

Heating circuit for ePE 7-20

The optionally integrated heating circuit is installed in the boiler to save space. This means that no external mixing valve or pump needs to be installed in the boiler room for this heating circuit.

Revolving grate with cleaning comb

It's clean and burns well. This patented system regularly cleans the combustion chamber of ash – automatically after a certain amount of pellets have been burnt. The air required for the combustion process is distributed extensively between the clean grate segments. Additionally, the grate is constantly kept in slight motion. The gentle movement stokes the firebed and thus ensures even better combustion.

Control system

Versatile, yet uncomplicated.
Whether it's fire control, pellet conveying, buffer management, hot water preparation, weather-compensated heating circuit control with a weekly programme for two circuits or the connected solar pwer system: all of this can be controlled via the touchscreen directly on the boiler or via the internet from any PC, smartphone or tablet. While there's plenty of functionality, it's still very easy to use thanks to the self-explanatory images on the touchscreen

Electrostatic precipitator

Minimal emissions through clever use of natural phenomena

The percipitator in the boiler ensures even cleaner and more environmentally friendly heating with wood. With an impressive capture efficiency of 80–85%, emissions are reduced to a barely measurable level. Retrofitting is also possible without any problems.
