Since December 1998, the Upper Austrian company ETA has been designing and building a new generation of wood-fired boilers. They are full of patented technologies and modern control technology – and yet are still easy to use. Comfort and efficiency make ETA products so popular around the world.

With a production capacity of up to 35,000 boilers per year and an export rate worldwide averaging 85%, ETA has established itself worldwide as a strong partner for biomass boilers. At ETA, we combine innovative ideas with traditional craftsmanship to create products that impress not only with their quality, but also with their authenticity and reliability. We believe in clear values and a down-to-earth way of working, which is reflected in every one of our developments.
What does "ETA" mean?
Technicians define the efficiency of a heating system with the Greek letter η, pronounced "ETA". ETA boilers operate with high efficiency and use renewable raw materials to deliver reliable heating.

You get more than just a boiler
Anyone who decides on a biomass boiler from ETA relies on regional value creation and efficient energy use. We take responsibility locally: Around 450 employees at ETA enjoy excellent working conditions – including an in-house canteen, bright production and storage halls, fitness rooms and a sauna. The company-owned photovoltaic system covers the entire electricity needs of one production hall, thereby saving approximately 230 tonnes of CO₂ per year. In addition, it supplies electric charging stations where our employees can charge their electric vehicles free of charge.
